AGILITY is often defined in regard to sports: “a rapid whole body movement with change of velocity or direction in response to a stimulus.” Its important to note that agility can be coached so that an athlete can grow and develop in their field to excellence and competitively prevail. It happened again last night! It’s been many months since the last one, but this morning about 3:30am I awoke as a result of a dream I’ve had many times now. I find myself on a golf course, frustrated that I cannot begin playing –either because I can’t find my golf bag or because I can’t locate the first tee. Its really aggravating because in my dream I am all alone, very focused to begin and persistent to find either of those things and get started. Each time, I awake very worn out and worked up emotionally, feeling like I’ve been striving unsuccessfully for hours. [Read more…]
I love a good massage— don’t you?
I get knots in my back and find it helpful when my massage therapist pushes into those trigger points with her thumbs or elbow. I gasp in pain for about a minute or two, but slowly the pain begins to dissolve. The same thing is true with our emotional triggers. Though it is counter intuitive to push into them… it actually helps AND it’s biblical. [Read more…]
